We got lucky yesterday and enjoyed a mostly clear and sunny day.

It has been great to catch up with more friends and acquaintances, and meet new people. Best small-world-moment so far has been Nick’s unexpected connection on the dock with someone we knew 35 years ago! She’s been a local AT owner for 4 years and this is the first time we’ve crossed paths. So bizarre!

Other than yesterday, it’s been mostly wet and breezy. We’ve walked, eaten a couple of meals out, attended a Chicago-style hotdog lunch and a taco bar dinner courtesy of the factory, and cruising seminar this morning.

Oh, and our maintenance work was completed yesterday. Nice to get that out of the way. (And nice that the main issue was still under warranty.)

Additional cruising friends, Deb and Mike, arrived with their trailer, as their boat is still on the Columbia River. They will bring their boat Aris up at the end of May and we’ll head to the Broughtons.

There are a few more activities planned for today and then we’ll head to Friday Harbor with Ramble On before making our way north into the Gulf Islands.

Other than crappy weather…so much fun!
