Ganges!
As I was saying, our cruise here was good, clearing customs went smoothly, and we passed this beautiful sailing vessel along the way:

I want to add that although our Canadian Customs with Nexus process was straightforward and quick, our friends aboard Ramble On had a few dropped calls and a few more questions, including which dock they planned to land on, and a directive to stay put for a minute in case they wanted to send a customs officer. Not sure why but maybe because we’ve cleared customs many times before? Or maybe just because they talked to a different officer. Who knows.
Yesterday was beautiful and we went for a couple of walks, did a little shopping, and had breakfast at Salt Spring Coffee. Nick, with Steve’s expert help, fixed our dinghy’s Garmin unit.
Ramble On crew:

When we were in Friday Harbor, Nick’s sister Kit gave us these awesome martini glasses! Nick made Cosmo’s and we had a great time on the dock in the sunshine:

The evening topped off with a shared meal aboard ToG (steak, potatoes, salad, and Shannon’s delicious shrimp!), and then dessert aboard RO (homemade brownies with ice cream and a candy topper!)
We may or may not move along today…
