The cruise from Telegraph Harbour to Nanaimo was pretty smooth, if a bit rainy. Dodd Narrows was a breeze.

The Nanaimo Yacht Club was full due to their opening day of boating celebration, so both boats are at the Port Authority Boat Basin.

We had a great Cinco de Mayo dinner yesterday: Mott tamales, beans and rice, salsas, dip, and guacamole. Oh, and pineapple margaritas!

Sunshine! At least so far this morning. We are so looking forward to some warmer weather.

Today we’ll explore town and look for Nanaimo Bars. Yum!
