Thanks to Shannon for this great shot of Touch of Gray at anchor in Tod Inlet.
Both boats arrived Friday after a smooth cruise from Maple Bay. Tod Inlet (Brentwood Bay, Saanich Inlet) is one of our favorite destinations, providing a quiet, protected and picturesque anchorage located near Butchart Gardens.
Weather has been great and we’ve walked, kayaked, and lounged around in the sunshine.
Here are a few photos of our visit to Butchart on Saturday.

We’ve seen areas with a lot of jellies but the waters of both inlets are absolutely full of Pacific Moon Jellies:
The four of us dinghied to the public dock on Sunday and took a short walk to the Brentwood Bay Resort & Marina for drinks and dinner. We’ve not visited this establishment before and we were pleased with the experience. They have a good selection of sushi…although no saki!
Nick and I went for a paddle and as we passed by Ramble On we were handed freshly baked, delicious peanut butter cookies!

We also explored a little more of the Gowlland Tod Provincial Park trails. Enormous skunk cabbage and beautiful purple trillium.
We plan to depart a little later this morning, headed for Mill Bay – a new destination!
