We spent three nights at Port Sidney, deciding the third night was a must, as the wind howled.

Nick and Steve took a bike ride, we all did some shopping, and shared a nice grilled salmon dinner aboard ToG.

Lovely evening sky:

After a few discussions, thinking and rethinking, we decided to cross back into the U.S. today to spend a couple of nights at anchor in Garrison Bay. We all need to start thinking about weather windows to get where we need to be in the coming days. Home, for us, and Victoria for Ramble On.

Still a bit breezy but hopefully calmer tomorrow.

Note to selves about using the CPB Roam app for clearing customs: use my phone’s hotspot to tether Nick’s iPad. Then…be patient. It seems like it won’t work, till it does. This time, it didn’t work until we were inside Roche Harbor.
