This small-ish cove near Brentwood Bay B.C. is the perfect place to float for days in warm weather.
It’s Saturday morning and there are currently around twenty-five vessels at anchor. Several of us are stern-tied (when the boat is anchored near the shore, with a line tethering the back of the boat to land), allowing more space since stern-tied boats don’t move.
We took a nice long paddle yesterday morning, out the channel and into Brentwood Bay.
As usual, there are lots of moon jellies:

This lion’s mane jelly was connected to a fried-egg jelly, like it was trying to eat it, which looked a little cannibalistic:

There are many beautiful homes in the bay, and one has a nice little lighthouse:

We joined Deb and Mike for lunch at the Seahorse Cafe. On the way back, our dinghy ran out of gas. After refueling (we carry a spare gallon aboard), there may have been air in the line…and we needed a tow:

Nick fiddled around with some fuel lines and it seems to be running just fine now.
Apparently we were not the only ones with issues…although this boat’s problems are probably more complex. Getting towed out of the inlet:

Happy hour aboard ToG:
