Mac’s first pink!

Pink salmon are jumping all over the place and Malcolm caught his first one this morning, out fishing with his dad. He reeled it in all by himself! (He’s 5!)

We had planned to take off Thursday but decided to wait out the small craft advisory, so departed for Skyline yesterday.

Our routine now, if planets align, is to stop in Seattle on the way to the boat, for lunch and a visit with Finlay. He’s almost three months old and changing quickly.

We did some cleaning and spent the night at our dock before getting an early start to Eagle Harbor, Bainbridge Island.

Pretty smooth sailing today, with clearing skies.

Not exactly sure of our itinerary but one thing is certain: we’ll be in Gig Harbor next Sunday for my parents’ 75th wedding anniversary!

Just a quick note about our recent RV outing – our first camping trip. What fun! Started in Manzanita (Nehalem State Park), then on to Fort Stevens where we met up with Shannon & Steve (Ramble On). Our last night was at Grayland Beach State Park where we were lucky to spend some time with our son and family. My favorite part? Riding bikes around the campground with Ren and Mac!
