Nick and I arrived home from Kailua-Kona on April 5th. Despite the biggest storm to hit the area in fifty years, it was a wonderful trip. We were fortunate to have the Ramble On crew (Shannon & Steve) with us for part of the time. Lots of fun although our activities were hampered by more-rain-than-I’ve-ever-experienced and subsequent storm damage.
We spent the next week helping to watch over our two oldest grandsons who were on spring break, and then last week Nick performed his civic duty by participating as Juror #4. (Not an easy one.)
Sierra and family are still living at ours – couldn’t ask for better housemates. I am already missing Finlay’s smiling face and chortling. Happy guy!

The detail crew was not able to finish the work on the boat because they needed access to the port side. So Saturday we arrived at Skyline and turned the boat around at our dock so the work could be completed.
Finished!

We are pleased with the work. She’s looking brand new!
We spent the night at the dock and took off this morning after some routine chores.
We’re now comfortably tied to the Jones Island dock for at least one night. No power here so we’ll see how cold we get. It’s nice outside but still a bit chilly. It is only April after all! (Nick is currently “resting his eyes” on the top deck, at least while it’s sunny.)
Not sure where we’re headed next but we will definitely be in La Conner on the 24th for the annual AT owner Spring Fling.
