We arrived in Sequim Wednesday and found our spot at JohnWayne’s Waterfront Resort.

Read about this here:

Although our spot was tucked in a back corner that seemed like an afterthought, it was grassy, roomy, and fairly private.

The resort is across the highway from the marina. It’s a nice area on Sequim Bay. We took a couple of walks through the marina, which is also a great spot.

Steve and Tracey joined us at the RV for a delicious grilled tri-tip meal…and some wine.

We visited the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge and took a short walk along a portion of the Discovery Trail and through the Railroad Bridge Park. Very nice facility with an amazing collection of taxidermy birds.

After drinks at The Hideaway (Steve & Tracey’s place) Thursday night’s dinner was at the Alder Wood Bistro, which has very good wood-fired pizza! And a heavenly calamari salad.

We are now at the Pt. Hudson Marina and RV Park in Port Townsend. We’ll be joined by Caleb and family a little later. It’s a bit drizzly but hopefully we won’t be rained on the entire weekend. We took a quick walk through town to Quimper Mercantile and I bought a board game and some cards just in case.
