What a fun weekend! So many people on the island!
We checked out Kit’s (Nick’s sister) new-to-her lovely condo on Perry Point, met up with Mike and Deb aboard Aris, and also with Steve & Tracey (who stayed at Kit’s).
Kit treated us all to an all-day smorgasbord on Saturday, beginning with espresso martini’s and ending with pulled pork tacos. In between were shrimp cocktails (Deb’s best meal in her life 😊), G&T’s, and grilled oysters – and a lot of other good stuff. Much fun was had by all.
That evening we sat atop Touch of Gray with Mike & Deb to watch, what Nick and I say, were the best fireworks we’ve ever seen. Really a good show, and what made it so great was that the barge was parked directly in front of us.
Yesterday we rode our bikes and met everyone in Roche Harbor, then stopped at the winery on the way home. Kit treated us (again!) to drinks at Urchin, and then we all dined at Tenth House. More fun!

We were happy to find a trail from Kit’s out to the point that we always wonder how to get to!

We got a 6:15am start this morning and are almost in Kingston. We decided to add this stop due to raves about pizza – expect my full report later.
Also Nick and Kit…from a few years ago:
