We spent a couple of nights in Poulsbo at the yacht club. Took a nice long paddle into the inlet.
Then we anchored in Gig Harbor Thursday night.
Dragon boats out for practice:

Ate the rest of our crab, Louie-style. Quite yummy!

Nick got word that our fridge had arrived in Seattle so Saturday we motored over to the Pt. Defiance dock to facilitate the switch.
It’s a very long story with a few twists and turns. Steve and Tracey picked it up for us and brought it to the boat. We borrowed a hand truck from Breakwater Marina, enlisted the help of some guys on the dock to move the old one out and the new one in, and then Brian came and picked up the old one…and took it to the dump.
This couldn’t have happened without the help of friends, family, and complete strangers.
Just to make things interesting, a humpback whale was just outside the marina, giving us all something to gawk at.

Then we motored back over to Gig Harbor.
We just turned the fridge on as it had to stand upright for 24 hours. Seems to be working…
We are now in Oro Bay (Anderson Island). It’s been some years since we’ve been here, and we still agree that it is a wonderful anchorage for peace, quiet, and wildlife.
The old Ocean City is still here, much worse. It used to rise and fall with the tide but doesn’t look buoyant anymore.

The old decrepit Calypso sailboat is no longer on the ball next to us, but the derelicts in the other part of the bay are still floating, including the June Bug, an old Sundowner Tug. Shameful.
We’ll move on to Boston Harbor tomorrow, a new destination for ToG.
