We arrived at the Cap Sante Marina in Anacortes (just around the corner from where we keep ToG) on Monday to find a few of our fellow Squalicum Yacht Club members already there, with a few more on the way.
We’ve had a couple of fun happy hours, games, and a great outdoor lunch at Rockfish Bar & Grill.
Nick and I took a walk yesterday morning on the Tommy Thompson Trail, which eventually heads across Fidalgo Bay on the old train trestle. We didn’t make it that far but hope to use our bikes one day to do the whole trail.
Nice, fun group of people. Most of us will be moving along to La Conner today, with a couple more boats to join us there.
The weather in Tacoma is in the nineties so I am very glad to be here where it is quite a bit cooler. Unfortunately, some of that is because of smoke cover.

We needed some new bedding, so since Nick’s favorite color is red, and he sleeps on the port side, I went with port and starboard colors!
